I've been carrying around this Masters Tower since I was a child back in the 90's, I swear its moved house 3 times with me.
I never like the stairs and always seemed ridiculously small and thin for 28mm, so I use some balsa wood to expand the stairs and it's actually not a bad bit of terrain. Then I saw this ace conversion over at https://coronasan.wordpress.com/2016/02/26/tower-stairs/ and inspiration struck!
I used some Das Modelling Clay to fill in the gaps which took most of the time when upcycling this bad boy. Note to self, the air drying orange clay will stain your hands and get red everywhere so use gloves and make sure you have kitchen roll and a tidy workspace next time...
